Dr Michael Tran

Dr Michael graduated from The University of Melbourne holding both a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Since 2016, he has worked primarily in Taylors Hill  located in Melbourne’s north west but is now calling Greenvale his new dental home.

Dr Michael holds special interests in orthodontics both fixed braces and clear aligners, as well as implants and restorative work.

He continues to strive to be at the forefront of dental knowledge with a strong emphasis on strengthening his expertise and skill base with seminars, workshops and overseas hands on work taught by POS group (Progressive Orthodontic Seminar) and EODO (Excellence in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics) by renowned orthodontist Dr Derek Mahoney. Dr Michael also holds a fellowship in the Dental and Implant Academy after studying both in Melbourne and abroad in Guatemala. He also holds qualifications with the procedural use of general anaesthesia and nitrous oxide.

Dr Michael strongly favours a patient based approach to patient care and loves to incorporate digital technology with the aim of educating patients about their current dental health and possible future endeavours.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Michael juggles being a full time dad to both a son and furbaby and is an avid fitness enthusiast, currently a brown belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu
