Who Needs Tooth Restorations?
Over time, inadequate oral hygiene can cause dental problems like cavities and damage to teeth. Lifestyle, trauma, age, and even diet can also interfere with the health of teeth. Fortunately, dental treatments have advanced so that we can treat and save teeth and, in most cases, restore both the appearance and function of your teeth.
Tooth restorations may include dental fillings, dental crowns, bridges and even dental implants. When you come to Diggers Rest Dental House for dental restorations, our goal is to restore your teeth and your oral health. Our philosophy is to ensure your teeth restorations are created with strong foundations, which will support the dental restoration for a long time while you enjoy improved oral health. Our team of dental professionals will work with you to create a customized restorative treatment plan that works.

Indirect restorations
With this dental solution, your tooth will be prepared for the restoration and you may be fitted with a temporary while you wait. Once ready, you will return for an office visit and the restoration will be cemented to your tooth. If you are receiving a dental implant, the implant post will first be placed into the jawbone and the restoration will be fitted to the post when your mouth is healed.

Risk Factors with Dental Restorations
Risk Factors with Dental Restorations
Dental implants are higher risk restorations, due to the procedure that includes oral surgery. Some risks may include infection, flap breakdown, peri-implantitis or destructive inflammation or failure. These risks are higher in patients who do not follow guidelines or for those who smoke. Our dentists have helped thousands of patients with dental implants and can greatly mitigate risks. We will do a full exam to ensure you have the structure and jawbone integrity to support a dental implant and will help you maintain and care for them with regular dental checkups
