All On 4 Plus® is a dental system that uses four dental implants to restore multiple missing teeth. Missing many teeth in a row can interfere with dining in public, speaking and socialising. All On 4 Plus® Dental Implant Solution
The All On 4 Plus® dental implant system is done by strategically placing four dental implants in your mouth to support the replacement prosthesis. A bridge or crown can be secured onto the implants to replace from 10 – 14 teeth, and because the prosthesis is secured to the implant, they will not shift around while you chew or talk. This makes them a more permanent and comfortable solution to replace missing teeth than traditional dentures.
Dental implants are titanium posts that are surgically placed into your jawbone. As you heal, your bone will anchor and stabilise the implant through a process called osseointegration. Because the bone cells grow up and around the dental implant, the jawbone will stop shrinking and fill in the jaw area for an anti-aging effect. Patients may need sufficient structure of the jawbone and gum tissue to support the implants, but if you have been turned down for implants in the past, All On 4 Plus® may still work for you. This is because there is no need to replace every tooth root with an implant, just four will do the job, and these four can be placed where your bone is strongest. In some cases, we may be able to graft the bone in the area to build it up, allowing it to hold an implant once it is healed.
